Jonathan is a Program Manager from the UK. He got involved in software development and management after studying complex mathematics and cryptography at university. In this video he talks about his transition to Microsoft, special projects he’s worked on, and how he started his career in computer programming.
Jonathan is from the elite squad of pioneering 80s computer junkies. His first was a Commodore Vic 20 - memories that will last a life time (but not as long as the loading time). Now if it takes longer than a second, you can hear him shouting “Seafóid” (Irish word for “rubbish”) at the computer. And after hard days at work you’ll find Jonathan chilling in his favourite Irish pub, The Wishing Well, in Blackrock.
