Jedidja Bourgeois (aka Casper) has been working in Microsoft since 2004. He moved over to Dublin from Canada and works as a Software Development Engineer. His previous experience was mostly in graphics-related work. In this video he talks about what he likes at Microsoft, how he’s fitted in with the team, and gives advice on the type of cutting-edge technology future candidates should be focusing on.
Sunday afternoon you’ll find Casper in the pub asking for the volume to be turned up on the NHL game. An avid supporter of the Montréal Canadiens, he never misses a match - unless he’s out at his favourite restaurant, El Pasco. And when he wants to get away and reminisce about the old days (when he started programming on a Vic 20) he finds Galway (a few hours’ drive from Dublin) the perfect place.
